U.S. Consolidated Screening List (CSL)

The Consolidated Screening List (CSL) is maintained by the U.S. International Trade Administration (ITA) in collaboration with the Departments of Commerce, State, and the Treasury. It consolidates 12 distinct export screening and trade restriction lists into a single federal clearinghouse.

Conducting business with parties listed on the CSL may violate U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), or trade sanction regimes, resulting in severe civil and criminal penalties, seizure of shipments, and forfeiture of U.S. export privileges.

The 12 Consolidated Federal Lists
