What does this API validate?

Our API connects directly with official records to validate:

• Full Name & Document Number: Supports Venezuelan identity documents (CCVE).
• Identity Match: Confirms that the name provided matches the document number.
• Optional Personal Details: May include date of birth, gender, and marital status when available.

By verifying these details, you can be confident that the person you're dealing with is real and holds a valid document, significantly lowering the risk of impersonation and fraud.

Endpoint

This route returns identity data for Venezuelan nationals using the CCVE (Cédula de Identidad) document class. Send the cédula number as documentNumber; the API resolves the record and returns structured name fields for KYC, onboarding, and fraud checks. For foreign residents, use GET /v2/ve/foreigner-id (CEVE) instead.

Notes

• documentNumber is required. Dots and spaces are stripped. Do not send documentType.
• Responses include name fields (arrayName, firstName, lastName, fullName). birthDate, gender, and maritalStatus appear when available.
• When present, birthDate follows YYYY-MM-DD (e.g., "1998-03-01").
• Sandbox fixtures: 10000001–10000010 are stable. 90040401 returns 404. 90050001 returns 500.
• If the service is temporarily unavailable, the API returns 409 with code: "Endpoint_out_of_service".
