Colombia — Pre-Litigation Conciliation & Personal Insolvency

Verifik provides direct access to the official Colombian statutory dispute resolution and personal insolvency registry. Under Colombian Law (Ley 640 and Ley 2220), extrajudicial conciliation is a mandatory legal prerequisite (requisito de procedibilidad) before filing civil, commercial, or labor lawsuits in court.

This API provides early warning fraud prevention signals, detecting commercial disputes and insolvency petitions 60 to 120 days before they appear in court dockets (Rama Judicial) or credit bureaus.

Verify if an individual has filed for insolvency restructuring or liquidation under Title IV of the Colombian General Code of Process (Ley 1564 / Ley 2220).
